Methionine: planned maintenance works in Asia

Adisseo's Nanjing site is reported to start annual maintenance works lasting around 45 days for its Methionine hydroxy analogue (MHA) production. Last year, it finished around early May.

NHU performs a 3-4 week shutdown for scheduled maintenance in March 2024. Ningxia Unisplendour Tianhua Methionine (CUC) suspends production in 2Q 2024 for scheduled 4-5 week maintenance works.

In Singapore, Evonik plans a shutdown of the second plant in 2Q 2024 following the temporary shutdown of the first plant during 3 months in 4Q 2023. The company invests in a technological upgrade to increase the efficiency and reduce the product carbon footprint.
