EC Greenlights Imports of Chinese Vitamin D3 500 into EU

The European Commission has regulated thatit is “appropriate to extend the derogation from the prohibition of entry” forimports of feed-grade vitamin D3500 into the EU from China.

The EC Decision (2023/1016) was publishedon 24 May in the Official Journal of the European Union and will enter intoforce on the 20th day following publication (mid-June). The decision is alsoapplicable to imports of feed-grade amino acids L-cysteine and L-cystine fromChina.
