France: MAASH to acquire METEX NØØVISTA assets

The Paris Commercial Court has appointed MAASH, a Belgian biotechnology company founded in 2021, as the new owner of the assets and activities of METEX NØØVISTA, a subsidiary of METabolic EXplorer (METEX) operating an industrial site in Carling.

This decision follows the judicial recovery procedure initiated for METEX NØØVISTA in March 2024, during which two takeover offers were reviewed. The court chose MAASH's proposal over the option of converting the recovery process into liquidation.

Additionally, hearings for the recovery procedures for METabolic EXplorer and its subsidiary METEX NØØVISTAGO, to examine Avril's offer for the activities and assets of these two companies, and requests for conversion into liquidation, are expected to be held in early July.

The suspension of METabolic EXplorer's stock listing continues. Investors should note that due to the group's liabilities, the proceeds from the sale of the activities of the three companies will not allow for payments to the shareholders of METEX NØØVISTAGO and METEX NØØVISTA, and generally METabolic EXplorer.
