Brazil: ADM increases Parana premix production by 40%

ADM will build a new premix factory for minerals, amino acids, vitamins and additives in Apucarana (PR), to increase its production capacity by 40%. The company is among the ten largest manufacturers of animal nutrition products in the country and has the ambition to be among the top three.

The National Union of the Animal Feed Industry (Sindirações), estimates that the segment will grow 2.6% this year compared to 2023, while the mineral salt segment will grow 4%

Other companies are investing too: CJ do Brasil is investing USD 195m to expand its Piracicaba factory, Agronorte invested USD 24m in a new factory in Gurupi and two warehouses in Açailândia and Bom Jesus, while the Cooperativa Central de Produtores Rurais (CCPR) recently completed a new USD 43m factory in Curvelo.
